Role Overview We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Associate focused on the front-end of the sales funnel. This is a high-activity role requiring a blend of persistence, strategic research, and professional communication. You will be responsible for identifying prospects and converting cold interest into qualified opportunities.
Core Responsibilities
Outbound Prospecting: Execute daily high-volume cold calling and multi-stage email sequences.
Social Prospecting: Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator for targeted outreach and relationship mapping.
Partnership Development: Identify and initiate contact with potential channel partners to drive indirect lead flow.
Lead Qualification: Conduct initial discovery calls to vet prospects against BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) or similar frameworks.
CRM Management: Maintain rigorous data integrity within the CRM, tracking all interactions and pipeline movement.
Required Competencies
Resilience: Ability to maintain high performance and output in a high-rejection environment.
Communication: Concise writing and persuasive verbal skills; ability to navigate gatekeepers and reach decision-makers.
Efficiency: Proficiency in CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and automated outreach platforms.
Strategic Research: Ability to identify high-value targets rather than just "spraying and praying."
Performance Indicators
Volume of outbound activities (Calls/Emails/InMails).
Conversion rate from prospect to qualified lead.
Number of discovery meetings booked and held.
