We’re looking for a smart, proactive Business Development Executive to help bring bold ideas to life and drive bookings for our world-class speaker lineup across Australia and beyond.
What You’ll Be Doing
Respond to inbound speaker enquiries and match the right talent to the brief
Build strong, strategic relationships with event organisers, bureaus, and corporate clients
Proactively identify new business opportunities across sectors and regions
Write compelling, tailored proposals and follow up to convert leads into bookings
Manage your pipeline, keep CRM records up to date, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks
Collaborate closely with speakers and agents to ensure seamless handover and delivery
You’ll Thrive Here If You:
Have 2–5+ years’ experience in business development, account management, or event sales
Are proactive, results-driven, and excited by a target
Communicate with polish and professionalism, on the phone, over email, and in person
Are confident working with senior decision-makers (CMOs, HR leaders, Event Managers)
Can juggle multiple priorities without missing a beat
Are passionate about storytelling, big ideas, and helping people grow
Nice to Have:
Experience in a speaker agency, events company, or talent/media environment
Familiarity with CRM platforms (we use Salesforce)
A creative edge when it comes to writing proposals and pitching talent
