Business Development Manager – Roles & Responsibilities 1. Strategic Planning & Growth Identify new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with company goals Analyze industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics Create long-term business expansion plans --- 2. Lead Generation & Sales Pipeline Generate qualified leads through networking, outreach, and campaigns Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline Convert prospects into clients through effective negotiation Achieve revenue and sales targets consistently --- 3. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders Understand client needs and provide customized solutions Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention Handle key accounts and long-term partnerships --- 4. Partnerships & Alliances Identify and develop strategic partnerships Collaborate with external partners for mutual growth Negotiate contracts, deals, and agreements Explore joint ventures and collaboration opportunities --- 5. Market Research & Analysis Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities Monitor competitor activities and pricing strategies Provide insights for product/service improvements Evaluate risks and opportunities in new markets --- 6. Proposal & Pitch Development Prepare business proposals, presentations, and pitches Customize solutions based on client requirements Present company offerings to potential clients and investors Close high-value deals through persuasive communication --- 7. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams Align sales strategies with marketing campaigns Provide feedback for product development and improvements Ensure seamless onboarding of new clients --- 8. Revenue & Performance Management Track KPIs, revenue targets, and sales performance Prepare reports and forecasts for leadership Optimize sales processes for better efficiency Drive profitability and cost optimization --- 9. Brand Representation Represent the company at events, meetings, and conferences Build brand presence in the industry Strengthen company positioning in the market --- 10.
