Business Finance Manager

Description We are seeking a talented Business Finance Manager to join the fast-paced and dynamic environment of CARS24. The role will report through to and work closely to the CFO and partner across the business with other senior stakeholders in the business. As the Business Finance Manager, your portfolio includes: Budgeting, forecasting and analysis Insurance and Debt. Reporting to the CFO/Head Of Finance, you will be responsible for providing key financial performance analysis to divisional functions, as well as managing our insurance and debt portfolios. Your duties will include: Managing the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities of the business Identifying areas of improvement to support the business in achieving its growth objectives Preparing financial models to support strategic planning activities Monthly & quarterly management reporting Variance analysis Business development opportunities and development of business plans Trend analysis across divisions Profitability and cost analysis Business performance reporting Maintenance of debt covenants and reporting to debt providers Management of insurance obligations Developing processes and systems to ensure integrity of data and adequate information gathering to complete requirements regarding analysis, forecasting and budgeting. The successful applicant will have: CA/ CPA qualified accounting professional with a proven track record in an analytical or commercial role (5+ years). Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills. Advanced financial modelling and data analysis skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships. Demonstrated aptitude for adding value to the bottom line. Self-motivated and ability to manage and prioritise deliverables effectively and efficiently. A sense of pride in the work you deliver, including the willingness to own your area of accountability end-to-end. Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. A can-do attitude with the team at the centre of your thinking. Well organised and process orientated.
