Business Litigation Attorney
Career Consulting Partners is in search of a Business and Real Estate Litigation Attorney to work out of El Segundo, California. We have partnered with an award-winning mid-size firm serving businesses, individuals, trustees, and families across Southern California. We are seeking a Litigation Associate with 2–5 years of experience to join our growing team of attorneys. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated attorney who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about business and real estate litigation.
This position will primarily focus on business and real estate litigation (approximately 60–70% of the caseload), with additional exposure to probate, trust, and estate litigation matters (approximately 30–40%). Please note: This is not an estate planning position. While some trust administration work may arise, the focus will remain on litigation.
Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a candidate who can handle all aspects of business and real estate litigation, including legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, court appearances, and trial preparation
Ability to handle business and real estate litigation matters, including breach of contract, commercial lease disputes, and partnership disagreements
Assist with probate, trust, and estate litigation as needed
Work closely with managing partners and support staff on case strategy and client management
Participate in case intake, client communications, and negotiations
Requirements:
Member of the California Bar and in good standing
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
2–5 years of litigation experience, ideally with a focus on business and/or real estate matters
Exposure to probate or trust litigation is a plus, but not required
Comfortable managing multiple cases and deadlines
Team-oriented, proactive, and professional
Interest in long-term growth within a litigation-focused practice
Compensation & Benefits:
Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick Leave
Compensation: $140,000 - $180,000
Plus Commission bonuses
