Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Business Operations Manager to promote and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, residents, and their families. Your role will be essential in ensuring that our business office runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledgers, while also creating and maintaining accurate documentation needed for our operations.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $81,000 Yearly
Key Responsibilities:
• Foster an environment that respects resident rights, ensuring privacy, dignity, and well-being in a secure setting.
• Develop effective working relationships with various departments to identify and address challenges collaboratively.
• Oversee daily operations of the business office, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Manage accounts receivable and billing operations, effectively communicating policies and procedures to staff, residents, and families as guided by the Executive Director.
• Edit resident census and charging information accurately within the billing and accounting system.
• Ensure timely posting of all resident receipts, maintaining efficiency within our financial processes.
• Provide training and support to staff to enhance business office operations and service quality.
• Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding of new employees, including conducting background checks and processing payroll changes.
• Maintain accurate personnel, resident business, and vendor files.
• Review and submit invoices for accounts payable in a timely manner.
• Supervise the Concierge team, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
• Participate in all in-service training as scheduled to ensure compliance and continual learning.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and community policies.
• Perform month-end closing procedures and billing functions with precision.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned to contribute to overall business success.
Qualifications:
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in business office administration, or 4 years of relevant experience.
• 1-2 years' experience in a related field is required; previous business office experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and a willingness to learn new software applications.
Physical Requirements:
• Regular physical activities include standing, walking, sitting, and using fine motor skills.
• Must be able to lift or carry weights up to 50 lbs and assist residents as necessary, following proper body mechanics.
