About The Firm
We are honoured to partner with one of the world's largest accounting firms (Top10), with a prominent national presence in Australia. Renowned for its instantly recognisable brand and commitment to being an employer of choice, our client operates from a state-of-the-art office in the CBD. The business services/private tax advisory team is looking for a passionate senior accountant or a manager who has commenced or completed CA/CPA to join this successful and fun team.
About The Role
Preparation of complex financial statements in accordance with tax compliance, accounting, and financial reporting standards.
Performing tax planning for clients and providing valuable advice to clients including HNWI, Family Groups, Trust, Partnerships, SME, Multi-national Companies and SGE up to $1billion in turnover.
Supervising junior staff on relevant works and provide tax planning and tax advisory works to clients.
Reviewing completed tax returns and identifying non-compliance issues.
Assisting with quarterly and annual tax compliance matters.
Directly liaising with clients, the ATO, external auditors, and financial advisors.
Exposures to Div7a, FBT, Crypto Tax, CGT, BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax, Company tax, DTA, DTL, tax effective accounting etc.
About You
Senior Accountant - 3-5 years of experience working in the business services and tax advisory (boutique, mid-tier and big4 experience all welcome! ).
Accountant 1-2 years of private tax or business services experience from big4, 2nd tier or large mid tier firms.
Studying, nearly completed or completed CA/CPA qualification.
A strong commitment to client focus and delivering high-quality service.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to establish professional relationships with both internal staff and external clients.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective multitasking skills to manage individual and team workflow efficiently.
Self-motivated individuals who take responsibility for personal and professional development.
Team players who are committed to supporting their colleagues.
Exceptional attention to detail.
A proactive approach to tasks and challenges.
Long term working visa, PR and Citizen preferred.
