Your Role and Responsibilities
As a vital member of Neudesic's Business Transformation & Strategy (BxS) service line, you will report to the Director of Business Transformation. Your focus will be on delivering successful business-driven digital transformation projects, providing strategic insights, conducting capability analysis, and developing actionable roadmaps that lead to measurable outcomes.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to both business and technology stakeholders, bridging the gap between strategic objectives and technology execution, employing business architecture and organizational change management principles. You will also engage in pre-sales activities, assist in backlog creation, and play a role in mentoring junior consultants.
Key Responsibilities
• Business Architecture & Strategic Advisory
• Assess business capabilities to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for digital innovation.
• Develop and implement business architecture models that align strategic objectives with operational and technological plans.
• Assist in crafting product visions, solution roadmaps, and opportunity backlogs for clients across various sectors.
• Work collaboratively with BxS leadership to translate business goals and market trends into structured transformation plans.
• Create and maintain essential strategic artifacts including:
• Business capability maps
• Business process diagrams
• Functional analysis frameworks
• Solution ideation documents
• Organizational Change Management (OCM)
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and readiness assessments, as well as change impact analysis within transformation projects.
• Collaborate with clients to discover change champions, define training needs, and devise communication strategies.
• Ensure that transformation recommendations focus on adoption, incorporating both structural and behavioral change planning.
• Help track change adoption metrics and measure business value realization after implementation.
• Delivery Execution
• Play a key role in delivering complex transformation projects, ensuring they align with business goals and client expectations.
• Work with technical teams, including App Innovation and Data & AI, to ensure business requirements are effectively translated into technology solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and ideation sessions to gather requirements, validate solutions, and create a future-state vision.
• Support the structuring of transformation initiatives into manageable backlogs, collaborating with delivery leads and product owners.
• Engage in agile ceremonies as required to provide business context and monitor progress toward objectives.
• Pre-Sales & Sales Support
• Assist in crafting proposals, client pitch decks, and strategic recommendations that clearly articulate business impacts.
• Contribute to industry-specific perspectives and transformation playbooks, in partnership with national service line and sales teams.
• Participate in client discovery and strategy workshops to uncover pain points and potential transformation opportunities.
• Articulate the business case and value proposition of BxS-led engagements to client stakeholders.
• Thought Leadership & Internal Development
• Help develop internal BxS methodologies, toolkits, and reusable frameworks.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the growth of the BxS practice.
• Stay up-to-date with technology and industry trends to ensure that client recommendations are forward-looking.
• Engage in internal initiatives focused on business architecture enablement, product strategy, or OCM maturity.
This role is fully remote within the United States.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum of 4 years in management consulting, business strategy, business architecture, or digital transformation.
• Proven success in converting business strategy into actionable roadmaps and capability models.
• Strong understanding of organizational change principles, particularly in stakeholder engagement, communications, and training.
• Experience conducting discovery workshops, business analysis, and backlog development.
• Familiarity with agile delivery frameworks and cross-functional teamwork.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills; adept at engaging with both business and technology stakeholders.
• Exposure to business architecture tools such as BPMN, capability mapping tools, or enterprise modeling platforms is advantageous.
• Experience across various industries or within a specific vertical (e.g., healthcare, retail, energy) is preferred.
