Job Description
• Proposes major cost saving opportunities by staying informed about trends and best practices in cost competitiveness.
• Ensures all financial activities, maintenance of accounts, efficient Material Management compliance with statutory requirements, management of cash flow and control of costs & inventory in the hotel.
• Responsible for preparation of hotel budget with inputs from all departments.
• Suggest corrective action wherever needed.
• Ensures adequate insurance coverage for hotel property.
• Constantly monitors key performance indicators for his/her department and decides on necessary actions.
• Ensures all Organizational and statutory policies/ requirements are adhered to by himself and by the department employees.
• Ensures compliance with company and hotel policies by department employees.
• Attends to any legal cases pertaining to accounts and finance.
• Ensures safety, security and protection of all movable assets and property by co-ordinating with other departments.
• Ensures maintenance and safekeeping of all unit licenses and their timely renewal by informing and guiding respective departmental head, as per organizational policy.
• Ensures and gets involves in business development.
