Job Title: Chartered Accountant – ASC 606 Compliance & Revenue Recognition (Contract Role)
Location: Onsite – Bangalore, India, WFO 5 days
Duration: 2-3 Months (Short-Term Assignment)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong background in ASC 606 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers) to validate client contracts and ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in SaaS companies and possess a deep understanding of revenue recognition policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and prevent revenue slippage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and validate client contracts for ASC 606 compliance.
• Assess and document revenue recognition implications based on contractual terms.
• Ensure proper identification and treatment of performance obligations.
• Coordinate with internal finance and legal teams for accurate revenue accounting.
• Detect potential revenue slippage and recommend corrective actions.
• Support the month-end and quarter-end revenue recognition process.
• Provide detailed documentation and audit support as required.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Prior experience working with SaaS companies is a must.
• Strong analytical and contract interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/Accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) preferred.
Contract Type:
• Full-time, Onsite at client location in Bangalore. (Near Whitefield)
• Immediate joiners preferred.
