We are on the hunt for a motivated and responsible individual with outstanding customer service and experience making coffee, to join our cafe team at Metlifecare Kapiti, an established retirement sanctuary in Paraparaumu. It is particularly unique as success will depend on your ability to build relationships with the residents that makes them want to keep coming back and bringing their family and visitors to experience your outstanding hospitality.
If you are energetic and engaging with experience making exceptional coffee, we need you to help us deliver the best food service experience in the industry.
The successful candidate will:
make stunning barista coffees
serve good wholesome café style food to customers,
operate Eftpos and POS machine with a helpful and friendly disposition,
work hard as a reliable and loyal team player who can stay cool under pressure,
utilise great communication skills and a can-do attitude,
clean dishes and support the café manager with food preparation,
This is a rare opportunity that offers true work-life balance, working two days per week 10am – 2pm to support the full time Barista over the busy period. Additional hours may be available on an as and when required basis to cover leave.
