Position Title: VP, Card Operations

We are in search of a dynamic and passionate VP, Card Operations to lead our Card Operations team. This pivotal role is crucial for ensuring exceptional service, operational efficiency, and strategic growth across our debit, credit, and ATM card programs.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic leadership by developing and implementing a vision for the Card Operations team that aligns with organizational goals.
• Oversee daily operational functions of the card services portfolio, ensuring excellence in service delivery and member satisfaction.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing team within Card Operations, fostering a culture centered on collaboration and member focus.
• Manage the lifecycle of card products, ensuring effective fraud prevention and dispute resolution practices.
• Ensure compliance with evolving card network and payment processor regulations.
• Serve as the primary liaison for vendor relationships, overseeing performance and negotiating favorable contracts.
• Develop and uphold card operations procedures to ensure adherence and business continuity.
• Promote an agile and respectful team environment while communicating effectively across the organization.
Required Skills
• 10-12 years of experience in financial services, payments, or card products, including 4-6 years in a leadership role in card operations.
• Proven management experience with a focus on team development and performance.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices within the card industry.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of leadership.
• Service-oriented approach with an emphasis on enhancing member satisfaction.
• Strategic thinker with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in utilizing standard office equipment and software.
Qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience in managing operations teams within a financial institution is desirable.
• Familiarity with financial products and advanced understanding of card management systems is advantageous.
