Are you passionate about helping young people achieve their career goals and aspirations? We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Careers advisor to join #TeamMoulton in the new academic year.

The role would suit an experienced CEIAG Careers Advisor looking to work closely with our Careers Lead to deliver an outstanding student experience within the framework of the Gatsby benchmarks.

We have Careers Advisor roles available in this team:

Post 1: a full time role, working 37 hours per week.
Post 2: working 37 hours per week, over 40 working weeks per year.
Interviews for this role will be taking place on 1+ August 2026.

Your duties

You will:

Provide one to one support to students across the College and assist them to identify their strengths, interests and goals.
Contribute to the planning, organising and delivery of the careers provision.
Host and deliver careers masterclasses to students in conjunction with the Careers Lead.
Provide advice and guidance to potential new students at open events, transition events and on-demand where the need arises.

Person specification

The successful candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:

Level 6 CIEAG Qualification or willing to work towards and achieve
Level 3 AET/teaching qualification or willing to work towards and achieve
Level 2 Customer Service qualification or willing to work towards and achieve
Experience providing careers education and guidance in individual or small group settings
Experience working with young people to inspire and motivate
