ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re growing, and we’re looking for an experienced carpenter to join our team at Leasehold Improvements Inc.

Based in HRM, we specialize in high-quality commercial and residential renovations. From kitchen remodels and retail fit-outs to clinic upgrades and full demo-to-rebuild projects, our work is varied, fast-paced, and always done right.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their craft and is ready to contribute to a wide range of projects, with a focus on quality, reliability, and client satisfaction.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Execute residential and commercial renovations, including kitchens, offices, retail spaces, clinics, and accessibility upgrades
Perform framing, drywall, finish carpentry, trim, doors, and hardware installs
Lead or support demo and rebuild work as needed
Collaborate with other trades and site supervisors to keep projects on schedule
Communicate directly with clients and project leads when needed, always representing the company professionally
WHAT YOU BRING

Proven experience in residential and/or commercial carpentry
A strong eye for detail and craftsmanship
Ability to work independently or as part of a crew
Reliability and pride in showing up on time, getting the job done, and doing it right
A client-first mindset — friendly, professional, and solutions-focused
Valid driver’s license and clean abstract

Competitive hourly rate: $34–$42/hour based on experience
