Job Summary
• Manage and process payroll for union workers in compliance with California union regulations and agreements.
• Track, calculate, and reconcile union benefits, pension contributions, health insurance, and other deductions.
• Ensure adherence to prevailing wage laws, certified payroll reporting (Davis-Bacon Act), and California union labor laws.
Responsibilities
• Process invoices related to labor costs, track payments to workers and benefits providers.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in payroll-related accounts.
• Maintain payroll records, generate reports, and assist in audits related to union labor costs.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in union payroll accounting, preferably for construction subcontractors in California.
• Strong understanding of union wage structures, benefits, and prevailing wage laws.
