Casual Position
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Chef that is wanting casual shifts at any of the three Trinity Schools in Masterton.
Cater Plus is the proud food service provider for these three prestigious schools and we are looking for a talented staff member to join our team on a casual basis. Our team caters for student meals as well as regular school functions throughout the year. Our aim is to provide a home away from home with a delicious meal service that supports health and wellbeing, providing the fuel needed for success.
We have an opportunity available to cover Chef shifts as and when required to fill gaps in the roster and cover leave, so we are looking for a motivated individual who is flexible to work across any of the three Trinity Schools in Masterton over a 7-day roster.
What you’ll do:
Deliver a high volume of healthy and nutritious meals daily
Monitor quality of food at all stages of preparation and presentation
Have good knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to implement NZ food control and safety regulations
Who You Are:
a flexible team player, with a committed attitude who can stay cool under pressure.
friendly and engaging and enjoy making the students’ day by serving amazing meals.
able to work safely in an industrial kitchen with large hot pots and trays.
able to take initiative and be comfortable to work unsupervised when required.
