Over summer Council’s outdoor swimming pools become significant meeting places for the community providing social connection, enhancing swimming skills and water confidence levels. Council is committed to a high quality service for residents and visitors.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Supervising - Provide active and continuous supervision of the public using the pool facilities;
Educating – Keeping our swimmers safe & enforcing the rules
Inspections - Inspect and ensure that the lifesaving equipment, the facility, and amenities are ready for daily use and are safe for purpose;
What You’ll Need:

This position is casual classified at Grade A Entry Level (Casual) under Council’s salary structure at $34.5240 p/h including 25% casual loading, plus 11.5% statutory superannuation. Conditions are in accordance with Local Government (State) Award 2026.
