About the Opportunity
Our Cellarbrations Frewville store is looking for a friendly and reliable Retail Assistant to join our team. You’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for every customer who walks through our doors. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys customer service and thrives in a fast-paced retail setting. You will be passionate about building rapport, sharing product knowledge, and helping customers discover something new, whether it’s a boutique wine, a local craft beer, or a premium spirit. The position requires some flexibility around working hours (up to 20 hours per week), and the ability to work on weekends when required.
In this Role
Greeting customers warmly, answering product-related questions, and offering tailored recommendations based on their preferences
Operating the point-of-sale system efficiently, handling cash and card payments, and ensuring accurate transactions.
Receiving deliveries, unpacking stock, and replenishing shelves
Keeping the store clean, organised, and visually appealing
Ensuring all sales are conducted in accordance with Responsible Service of ******* regulations.
You’re Likely a Match If
Valid RSA Certificate
Previous Retail, hospitality or customer service experience is ideal
Strong customer service and communication skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
Team player who will contribute to a friendly working environment!
