Love theatre? Experienced in backstage theatre work, audio, lighting or rigging? We’re always on the lookout for suitably qualified theatre technicians to join our team. If you are skilled in this area, we’d love to hear from you!

Wagga Civic Theatre is a 4+1 seat theatre that presents an annual main stage season of theatre, music and dance and hosts both local and professional touring productions. The theatre also delivers a children’s season each year, a day time concert series and other events throughout the year.

Positions are casual and offered on a seven day roster with evening and weekend hours often required. Applications will be retained on file to fill vacancies within our casual pool as they arise throughout the year.

Remuneration of $33.37 gross per hour + superannuation
Technicians are responsible for safely and efficiently delivering high quality, professional technical and production support to a wide variety of commercial and community user groups and customers of the Wagga Civic Theatre.

What you will need to succeed:
We are looking for people who:

Have previous experience including knowledge and understanding of stage craft including audio, lighting, audio visual, projection and staging;
Work well as part of a team;
Are highly motivated; and
Are committed to WH&S requirements of the role.
