Ceded Reinsurance Accountant Specialty £75,000-+0,000 PA Permanent London - Hybrid 2-3 days PW Experience in insurance or reinsurance accounting is essential for this role. If you do not have experience within this industry you will not be considered. I am working with a specialty insurer where they are looking for a Ceded Reinsurance Accountant to join their team on an interim basis to support with quarter end, reinsurance premiums reporting, data improvements, and production of high quality bank and GL reconciliations. Responsibilities: Working closely with the technical and ceded reinsurance team (including Analysts and technicians) on accurate reporting on month and quarter close Utilising the reinsurance data to provide insight to finance, actuarial and operations teams on areas such as P&L , budgeting and forecasts Improving newly implemented accounting systems Ensure all reporting are in line with regulatory standards (SII/ IFRS17) Personal Profile: Strong insurance technical reporting/ accounting across reinsurance premiums ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA or strong QBE within reinsurance accounting Strong Excel modelling Proficient analytical/ data skills, with excellent story-telling for P&L Ability to support with close accurately and on time Excellent GL and bank reconciliations experience If you are a qualified finance professional, with extensive understanding in insurance and reinsurance, please apply now or contact Chloe Williams at chloe.williams@jss-fs.com
