Certified ITGC Compliance Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Certified IT General Controls (ITGC) compliance specialist to support our compliance and audit initiatives.
• This is a part-time contract opportunity requiring flexibility and availability during US Eastern Time business hours.
About the Opportunity:
The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP S/4 HANA, Windows Active Directory, and Portal Security, along with a solid understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC).
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support ITGC compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to industry standards and internal policies.
• Perform detailed assessments and remediation of ITGC risks across SAP S/4 HANA, Windows AD, and Portal Security environments.
• Collaborate with internal audit teams and external auditors to provide evidence and explanations of control design and effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement of ITGC processes and documentation in alignment with evolving compliance requirements.
• Support user access reviews, role design, segregation of duties (SoD), and other key SAP Security activities.
• Maintain and enhance compliance documentation, process flows, and control matrices.
• Provide expert guidance on IT control frameworks such as SOX, COBIT, and NIST.
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of professional experience in ITGC compliance and SAP Security.
• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant hands-on ITGC experience.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA, Windows Active Directory, and Portal Security.
• Active CISP certification or an equivalent recognized certification in IT compliance/security.
• Proven track record of successful audit support and control remediation.
• Strong understanding of control frameworks (e.g., SOX, COBIT, NIST).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within defined timelines.
Desirable Skills:
• Experience with risk and control management tools or GRC platforms.
• Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
• Previous experience working in a multinational or regulated environment.
