About Us
We are a fast-growing electric mobility company on a mission to revolutionize how people and goods move in urban and semi-urban India. With a robust lineup of electric cycles, we are poised to capture the booming market for sustainable hospitality transport and last-mile delivery. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and analytical B2B sales leader to build and scale our e-cycle business channels from the ground up.
Role Mission
Your mission is to establish and scale our B2B sales channels for electric cycles, focusing on different verticals. A key part of your role will be to launch and manage a captive micro-delivery fleet, proving the unit economics and creating a powerful sales case study that you will use to win major fleet accounts.
What You'll Do
• B2B Channel Sales: Prospect, pitch, and close deals with resort chains, rental operators, and last-mile delivery companies for multi-unit deployments of our e-cycles.
• Build a Business from Scratch: Launch and operate a 25-50 cycle captive delivery fleet in a major city. You will own the entire process: rider recruitment, hub setup, client acquisition, and day-to-day operations, with full P&L responsibility.
• Commercial Modeling: Develop compelling Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and EMI-based proposals that prove a clear ROI for fleets transitioning from petrol-based vehicles.
• Account & Service Management: Structure multi-site deployment plans, service level agreements (SLAs), and preventive maintenance schedules to ensure high customer satisfaction and fleet uptime.
• Data-Driven Reporting: Maintain a rigorous sales pipeline, and track and report on key operational metrics for your captive fleet, including asset utilization, uptime, and profitability.
Who You Are
• You have 1-3 years of B2B sales experience in the mobility, logistics, or hospitality industry, with a demonstrated history of managing multi-site product rollouts.
• You are highly analytical and commercially astute, comfortable building a TCO model in Excel and presenting a data-backed business case to financial decision-makers.
• You are a "doer" with a startup mindset, excited by the challenge of setting up a physical operation, managing a team of riders, and owning a P&L.
• You are technically proficient and can speak confidently about EV battery specifications, range calculations, and the commercial implications of a service and warranty framework.
To Apply, Please Answer the Following Questions in Your Cover Letter and send it to jay.m@aoki.co.in:
• Outline a 90-day plan to launch a 50-cycle delivery fleet pilot in a new city. What are your top 5 priorities and the key metrics you would track weekly?
• You are pitching to a national e-commerce company to switch their delivery fleet from petrol scooters to your e-cycles. Build a high-level TCO comparison, clearly stating your key assumptions.
• A resort chain wants to deploy 100 e-cycles across five properties but has no internal maintenance team. Propose a comprehensive service, support, and spares management plan to ensure success.
