Job Description
As a Chartered Accountant of the OEC group of Companies, you would be responsible for tax compliances and coordinating with branches of the company. Some of the specific duties may include:
1. Financial Accounting: Preparing, analysing, and presenting financial statements for the company.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing and managing budgets and forecasts for the company.
3. Taxation: Liaison with consultants for tax-related matters and providing them data required for the purpose of statutory filings - more specifically, GST, Income Tax and ROC.
GST Compliance: Maintaining GST records and providing data to the consultants for monthly filings.
TDS Compliance: Managing the Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) compliance process, including calculating and deducting TDS, filing TDS returns, and handling TDS-related queries of the in-house team.
4. Audit and Assurance: Conducting internal audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
5. Management Reporting: Preparing financial reports and analysis for management to help them make informed decisions.
6. Coordinating with Branches: Coordinating with branches of the group to ensure consistency in accounting, financial reporting and adherence to office policies and procedures.
7. Auditing Branches: Conducting periodic audits of branches to ensure compliance with company set procedures, finding loopholes and plugging them after discussing with management.
8. Financial Planning and Analysis: Collaborating with branch managers to develop and implement financial plans that align with the company's overall strategy
