Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Chartered Accountant to manage our financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial guidance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasting
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights for business decisions
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
Taxation & Compliance
Handle GST returns, TDS compliance, and income tax filings
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and regulations
Manage audit processes and liaise with external auditors
Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and tax laws
Cost Accounting & Analysis
Implement and maintain cost accounting systems
Analyze trading costs and inventory management
Prepare cost analysis reports for management
Monitor budget variances and recommend corrective measures
Strategic Support
Assist in business planning and financial strategy development
Provide financial insights for investment decisions
Support management in financial risk assessment
Participate in management meetings and presentations
Required Qualifications
Education & Certification
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field
Experience
5-8 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance
Experience in trading industry preferred
Prior experience with Tally accounting software mandatory
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Tally accounting software (mandatory)
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets
Understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
Knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances
Key Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and presentation skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Leadership skills and team management capabilities
