About the Role
We are seeking a motivated professional with strong expertise in Direct Taxation to join our client’s finance team in Pune. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in tax compliance, assessments, and advisory, and should be ready to contribute from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, and companies.
Handling TDS/TCS compliance, returns, and reconciliations.
Assistance in tax audits, assessments, and appeals.
Advisory on Direct Tax matters, including corporate and individual taxation.
Keeping updated with amendments, notifications, and circulars issued under the Income Tax Act.
Liaising with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance (CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA preferred).
3 years of relevant experience in Direct Taxation.
Strong understanding of Indian Income Tax laws and compliance procedures.
Proficiency in tax computation, e-filing, and related software tools.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
