Role Overview
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and maintaining compliance with statutory regulations. The role includes overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, managing tax filings, and coordinating with internal departments to maintain financial transparency and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
· Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations including GST, TDS, and other applicable laws.
· Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
· Monitor and reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
· Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and filings.
· Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
· Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or similar systems.
Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) will be an added advantage.
CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) will be an added advantage.
