Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Analysis
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Provide recommendations for improving financial performance based on analysis results.
Prepare financial reports for management, shareholders, and regulatory authorities
Tax Planning and Compliance
Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, GST/VAT, and other applicable taxes.
Perform tax planning activities to optimize tax liabilities and minimize risks.
Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Audit and Assurance
Coordinate and manage the external audit process.
Prepare and review audit schedules, supporting documents, and reconciliations.
Identify areas for process improvements and implement best practices.
Assist in the resolution of audit queries and findings.
Financial Management
Develop and implement financial controls and policies to safeguard company assets.
Monitor and analyze financial performance indicators.
Provide financial advice and guidance to management on budgeting, cost control, and investment decisions.
Conduct financial risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Compliance and Regulatory Reporting
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant laws.
Prepare and submit regulatory reports and disclosures.
Liaise with external parties, such as auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Team Leadership and Development
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
Provide guidance and support in their professional development.
Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Requirements
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) designation.
Proven work experience as a Chartered Accountant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial analysis.
Experience with financial reporting, auditing, and compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) is a plus.
