Job Title: US Accountant (Chartered Accountant)
Department: US Accounts
Job description:
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Assist in the creation of the monthly reporting package by conducting various analytical reviews and preparing ad-hoc reports as needed.
• Perform roll forward of financial data, maintaining the continuity and accuracy of financial information across reporting periods.
• Develop and maintain detailed footnotes and disclosures for financial statements, ensuring they are comprehensive and accurate.
• Support the preparation of financial statements for joint ventures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
• Collaborate with various departments, including Tax, General Ledger (GL), and International Accounting, to gather necessary information for financial reporting.
• Coordinate with external parties, such as external auditors, local third-party accountants, and other advisors, to facilitate the financial reporting process.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed explanations for significant variances.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and participate in the development and implementation of new reporting processes and systems.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance in financial reporting.
• Assist in audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
• Strong Excel skills and modelling. Running General Ledger, Pivot Tables, Excel Formulas, Q-o-Q/Y-o-Y Analysis.
• Analysis of large volume of data and manipulation. Forecasting revenues, forecasting expenses, Budgeting, Looking at expenses by vendor, trend analysis.
• Experience with NetSuite (Preferred)
Skills Required:
• 2+ years in General Ledger, Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, International Accounting.
• Required education qualification : CA Qualified
• NetSuite Experience (Preferred)
