Job Description
• Provide end-to-end support to clients’ queries on direct taxation aspects arising out of investments in varied securities
• Thorough knowledge of Indian tax law and regulations to address complex investment structures
• Work with product teams and provide necessary inputs and guidance from taxation perspective on need basis
• Ability to produce reports, articles on changes in direct tax rules & laws impacting clients’ investments
• Address queries from front end teams, clients on direct taxation
• Perform detailed review of tax returns, tax working papers, calculations, and other tax compliances for clients, if needed
• Maintain and upkeep the complete repository of records for reference
Expected skill sets:
• Chartered Accountant (Fresher) with a strong interest in Direct Tax
• Process knowledge of domestic and international taxation
• Ability to manage stakeholders, collaborate across teams and build relationships
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Demonstrated problem-solving and solution-orientation with limited directions
• Articulate, and able to express thoughts clearly in oral as well as written communication
