Job Summary
We are looking for a newly qualified Chartered Accountant with 1-5 years of experience in RTR profile.
The candidate should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and knowledge in the broad spectrum of accounting practices and year end closures and compliances. The candidate should be experienced in using SAP systems and efficient in MS Excel, MS powerpoint too.
Responsibilities and Duties
Daily/ weekly review of the entries passed in the system from completeness and correctness perspective
Checking the accuracy of the accounting entries passed from Ind AS perspective.
Handling the team for ensuring timely completion of the month end closing of books of Accounts.
Preparation and review of the financial statements (including Balance sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash flow statements and related schedules) for entities on monthly basis in compliance with the Ind AS.
Passing month end closing entries like current/ non-current classifications, inter-company balance reconciliation, recognition of provisions, amortization of prepaid expenses, booking of accruals in relation to interest expenses and other expenses, reviewing depreciation computations etc.
Preparation of board deck on quarterly basis for the top management explaining the financial performance of the entity and quarter-on-quarter variances.
Holding meeting with the CFO/ Financial controller of the organization to explain the board deck prepared or highlighting any other issues that may crop up from time to time
