Air pollution takes more than 7 Million lives globally every single year. Over 5% of premature children death occurs due to air pollution in developing countries. Praan is an attempt at making the future cleaner, healthier, and safer for the generations to come.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
• Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports for management to make informed decisions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile bank statements.
• Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations, including filing tax returns and calculating taxes.
• Develop and execute a financial strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals.
• Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for the business.
• Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports to the management team.
• Provide financial guidance to the management team to support decision-making.
• Work with external auditors to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Manage relationships with financial institutions and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) designation.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, tax laws and regulations, and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
