Chartered Accountant

1. Synopsis of Role :

This role is responsible to deliver high quality financial and accounting services and solutions primarily for the processed foods business, but also for other Group companies as required. The incumbent would have to interact with key stakeholders throughout the business; take part in the strategic team responsible for driving change & improving internal and external systems & processes.

2. Essential Functions :

Synopsis of Role :

· Responsibility of day to day accounting and it’s supervision of various entities within the group.

· Preparation of various MIS reports, periodically, as required by Management.

· Responsible to handle financial audit including internal and statutory compliance with the various tax and corporate laws on monthly basis.

· Responsibility to coordinate with various professional consultants/experts on various corporate matters.

· Implementation and maintenance of policies & procedures for internal financial controls.

· Preparation of cash flows (monthly & weekly), budgets, forecasts of group cos.

· Tax Compliances under GST and TDS

· Ledger Scrutiny

· Opex and Capex Control

· Vendor Payables and Receivables

· Payroll processing and related compliances

· Product Costing

Essential Functions

· Ability to learn and work on various accounting software. Tally accounting is must.

· Advanced level understanding of spreadsheets and power point.

· Experience of working in FMCG companies and related compliances.

· Experience in production of financial statements and supports in preparing budgets/forecasts.

· Updated knowledge of developments in accounting and taxation.

· Strong communication & analytical skills and good team player.

3. Preferred Education and Experience

· Post Graduate, preferred Chartered Accountant with 2-3 years’ experience

· Should have exposure in managing in a global environment (ideally UK, Australia, Middle East)

· Exposure to the FMCG is mandatory preferably the food processing industry.

· Knowledge of UK accounting process desirable but not essential

· Minimum 3-5 years of work experience.

· Leadership capabilities and experience.

· Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.

· Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.

· Very strong execution and implementation skills, coupled with tactical and strategic thinking skills.

· Excellent in written & spoken English.

· Good at relationships with external agencies for auditing, compliances, etc.

· Excellent in the entire Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
