Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
Knowledge of product development life cycle, and manufacturing processes
Responsibilities
Lead and manage tasks within the Chassis Equipment function, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of engineering designs
Oversee design activities from concept to production, support verification and validation processes, and address any issues during the design maturity stages
Create and manage drawings, CAD models, and engineering change releases
Ensure accuracy and effective collaboration within the department and with cross-functional teams
Prepare and support design reviews for manufacturing (DFM), aftermarket (DFAM), and quality tools related to the assigned function area
Collaborate with analysis teams (FEA, CFD) to validate designs and implement cost-effective, sustainable solutions
Work with test engineers to support testing activities and prototype procurement
Develop plans for accelerated endurance testing of components and assemblies
Engage with suppliers on sourcing, tooling development, quality issues, and engineering change approvals
Ensure compliance with relevant vehicle regulations (e.g., FMVSS, FMCSR, EPA, CARB) related to the fuel system function area
Technical Reports: Respond to technical reports and provide corrective guidance based on verification and validation activities

A leading Automotive OEM company is currently seeking a Chassis Design Engineer who will focus on new product development from conception to mass production working closely on chassis and its components.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage tasks within the Chassis Equipment function, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of engineering designs.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• 3-5+ years of experience in product development (Automotive or Heavy Machinery OEM a plus)
• Knowledge of product development life cycle, and manufacturing processes
