We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Finance Chief to join our organization. As a Finance Chief, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial aspects of our company. With at least 8 years of experience in finance, you will bring a deep understanding of financial operations, strategic planning, and risk management.
Seeking candidate experienced professional in the field of finance and taxation to join our team as a GST, TDS, Bank Reconciliation, and Income Tax Specialist. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in handling these areas.
Responsibilities:
GST Compliance: Ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations, including timely and accurate filing of returns, reconciliation of input and output taxes, and handling GST audits.
TDS Management: Manage Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) processes, including timely deduction, payment, and filing of TDS returns. Ensure compliance with TDS provisions and handle any related assessments or notices.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions, identify discrepancies, and resolve any outstanding issues promptly.
Income Tax Planning and Filing: Assist in income tax planning for individuals or businesses, including evaluating deductions, exemptions, and incentives. Prepare and file income tax returns accurately and within the specified deadlines.
Tax Audit Support: Coordinate and support tax audits, liaise with tax authorities, and provide required documentation and explanations to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements, tax implications, and transactions to identify potential tax planning opportunities or areas of improvement.
Compliance Monitoring: Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and filing procedures. Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and assist in implementing necessary changes to processes or systems.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and legal, to gather relevant information, resolve queries, and provide tax-related guidance.
Client Advisory: Provide expert advice to clients on GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and income tax matters. Address client queries, resolve issues, and offer proactive solutions to optimize tax planning and compliance.
Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in handling GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and income tax functions.
Strong knowledge of relevant tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles.
Proficiency in using accounting software, preferably Tally, for GST compliance, TDS management, and bank reconciliation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies and resolve complex tax-related issues.
Good understanding of financial statements and ability to perform financial analysis.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and interact with clients and tax authorities.
Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountancy (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent will be an added advantage.
