BASScare is a Not For Profit organisation that takes great pride in our aged care and disability services in Melbourne’s Boroondara and surrounding LGAs. Are you an experienced CFO leader ready to work with an accomplished Executive Team and a highly professional Finance team?
The Role:
Reporting to the CEO, you’ll lead the Finance team and work closely with the Executive Leadership Team as well as key stakeholders across the business.
The Role
Take financial stewardship of the business by:
Developing and implementing the strategic plan for the Finance function.
Provide strategic input and change experience from both a financial and business perspective.
Protect and grow the finances of the organisation by recommending and implementing strategies to improve revenues or reduce expenditure
Strategically advise and assist Business Unit Managers in financial, budgeting and cost control principles.
Analyse financial data, prepare and present financial reports, statements and projections for Directors and CEO prior to each Board Meeting.
Coordinate and manage all aspects of finance and accounting for the organisation including management of investment and insurance.
Forecast proactively and produce real time reporting including “fast close” month ends, split month reporting and service tailored reporting to ensure time efficient reporting.
Manage, mentor and empower direct reports in the performance of their roles to ensure a high level of accountability.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and all other standards and regulations as applicable.
Ensure staff practices are focused on driving an active continuous improvement culture whilst providing services to clients and participants
Ensure organisation policies and procedures are monitored, assessed for effectiveness, reviewed and updated as required.
