The Role
Reporting to the Vice President – Engagement, the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) will be responsible for leading the Growth, Engagement and Marketing directorate. The CGO will oversee the development, coordination and implementation of innovative whole of institution strategies, frameworks and plans relating to marketing, communication, social media, business growth and customer experience.
Playing a significant part in the enhancement of ECU’s brand in its chosen markets, this position ensures that the University’s plans are integrated, consistent and effective whilst proactively creating commercially viable opportunities, target markets and segments and maximising student recruitment and retention opportunities.
About you:
You have a strong track record and demonstrated experience in leading change, and inspiring teams toward achieving ambitious goals and strategic priorities of a large organisation.
You have extensive experience in a customer focussed leadership role at a large organisation
You have detailed knowledge of marketing technology solutions including Salesforce CRM and the opportunities provided by the available platform applications (beneficial);
You have experience in large organisational customer sales strategies and frameworks with demonstrated achievement of targets;
Strong expertise in leading data analysis and making well-informed, data-backed decisions; and
You have knowledge and experience in the higher education sector (beneficial).
