About the Job:
We are seeking a Deputy Chief Legal Counsel to join our team at Te Tahu o te Ture - the Ministry of Justice. As a key member of our Legal Advice Team, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing trusted legal advice across the Ministry, and to Ministers.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading and managing the Legal Advice Team.
Providing strategic support to the Chief Legal Counsel, including acting up into that role when required.
Developing and maintaining strong legal advice capability within the Ministry.

What You'll Need:
Extensive experience in providing specialist legal advice at senior levels.
