Job Description
As Chief Legal Strategist for Heart Health Innovation, you will play a pivotal role in driving Advara Heart Care's growth and success. You will collaborate closely with diverse business leaders to provide strategic and commercial legal advice that facilitates our mission of improving heart health in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide practical and strategic legal advice on commercial contracting, property, construction, and regulatory issues
• Identify and advise on the mitigation of legal, regulatory, and commercial risks
• Perform legal research and analysis of legal issues encountered by the business
• Review, draft, and revise a range of contracts
• Assist with the maintenance of company secretarial records for group subsidiaries in Australia
• Liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders nationally
• Represent Advara Heart Care in matters where legal representation is required
Requirements
• Tertiary qualifications in Law
• 3-5 years PQE within a law firm or a fast-paced in-house legal team
• Experience undertaking legal research, drafting legal documents and correspondence, and performing document review
• A demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
• A genuine interest in the healthcare space and partnering both internally and externally on legal matters
• Proactive and self-driven
• Strong attention to detail
