Job Description
The role of General Manager within the Australian Capital Territory Solicitor spans across various areas of organisational operation and is a business-critical function.
Directly accountable to the Solicitor-General, the General Manager is responsible for ensuring the capabilities required for effective and responsive delivery of legal services to the Territory. The Role leads and is responsible for the organisation's governance, financial, technological, physical and people resources.
In addition to day-to-day delivery of business support functions for a complex business model, the Role is responsible for integrating and coordinating corporate activity including budget, resources and services to ensure the availability of ACTGS capability and legal services coordination.

Forward-thinking and adept at building strategic relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
Integrity, judgement, critical and strategic thinking and risk analysis, spanning several core functional areas
Experience in successfully addressing sensitive political and people issues will be highly regarded. The successful applicant will possess a strong focus and ability to drive and achieve results under significant pressure.
