Mandatory Requirements:
• Minimum 12+ years of overall experience, with at least 5+ years in a hands-on technology leadership role within B2B SaaS or ERP product companies.
• Proven track record in architecting and scaling cloud-native enterprise platforms — multi-tenant, modular, and API-driven backends.
• Deep experience managing complex data models involving multi-entity hierarchies, workflows, permissions, accounting, and approvals.
• Strong background in enterprise integrations across CRM, Accounting, HRMS, SCM, SSO, APIs, and Compliance Systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and scale large engineering teams (100+ members) while ensuring platform scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Must have hands-on technical depth — capable of code reviews, architectural decision-making, and balancing long-term vision with short-term execution.
• Must be based in Delhi NCR / Gurugram and open to working full-time from office.
• Compensation up to ₹1.5 Cr (approx. 80% fixed, 20% variable/ESOP).
• Reports directly to the CEO; current team size ~150+, with aggressive 3× growth and IPO plans in 3 years.
Role & Responsibilities
• Technology Strategy & Roadmap: Define and drive the long-term technology roadmap aligned with business goals and product vision (3–5 years).
• Cloud Migration & Architecture: Lead migration from on-prem systems to a scalable, multi-tenant, cloud-native SaaS architecture.
• Scalability & Reliability: Build systems capable of handling 10× growth in transactions, users, and data while maintaining ≥99.9% uptime.
• Engineering Excellence: Build and mature a high-performance, metrics-driven engineering organization.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with the CPO and business teams to align technical direction with product and customer requirements.
• Quality & Performance: Reduce production issues, improve platform latency, and enhance overall customer experience.
• Talent Development: Mentor and grow engineering managers, architects, and senior developers.
Ideal Candidate
• 12+ years of experience with strong engineering leadership in SaaS or large-scale enterprise products.
• Proven expertise in cloud architecture, distributed systems, APIs, and platform scalability.
• Strong technical understanding of backend systems, integrations, and enterprise-grade data models.
• Hands-on leader who can balance management with technical contribution.
• Strong background in agile methodologies and engineering best practices.
• Data-driven decision-maker with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Success Metrics
• Migration of all enterprise clients to cloud platform with 0% technical churn.
• ≥99.9% uptime post-migration.
• 10× scalability achieved across data and transaction layers.
• 90% delivery adherence to product and tech roadmap.
• Higher release velocity and reduced defect ratios across teams.
