Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced marketing and communications professional who can help us connect with people across all markets, while ensuring we communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking communities.
This role is about more than advertising. It’s about understanding people, communicating with care, and helping our practice be visible, accessible, and trustworthy. You’ll shape how we tell our story globally, while being especially mindful of cultural and linguistic nuance.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage marketing and advertising initiatives.
Develop and adapt content so it is clear, respectful, and culturally appropriate, including for Mandarin-speaking audiences
Manage social media channels and create informative, empathetic content about our services, programs, and resources.
Work closely with clinicians and leadership to communicate services accurately and ethically
Monitor campaign performance and make thoughtful, data-informed improvements
Help ensure all public-facing communication aligns with professional and mental-health standards
Provide non-clinical interpretation support during client sessions when required (in-person or via telehealth).
Conduct intake sessions with clients from Chinese-speaking backgrounds and prepare corresponding documentation in Chinese.
Translate client materials between English and Chinese (Simplified and/or Traditional) with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
Communicate with clients from Chinese-speaking backgrounds via text, email, and phone in a professional and culturally sensitive manner.
Represent the practice at community events, outreach activities, and professional networking opportunities.
About You
Fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese and English (spoken and written).
Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
Experience in translation, or advertisement work (experience in a psychology or medical setting preferred).
Knowledge of mental health or psychological terminology is highly regarded.
Creative mindset or experience in advertising, marketing, or social media is an advantage.
Sensitivity to mental health topics and an ethical approach to advertising
Strategic thinker who is also comfortable being hands-on
