Job Title: Journeyman Electrician
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing complex electrical work at the journeyman level.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of lift stations, lighting, building facilities, traffic signals, and associated components.
Performance of skilled tasks on a variety of installations maintained by the City.
Maintenance of communications network, street and ornamental lighting and wiring, pumps and motors, civil defense systems, electrical, electronic, and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) equipment associated with municipal electrical systems and equipment.
Requirements:
Journeyman electrician license or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
