🌱 City Quality Check (QC) Head – Fruits & Vegetables
Location: Ahmedabad

🚀 Role Overview
We are hiring a City QC Head – Fruits & Vegetables to lead and elevate quality standards across Ahmedabad operations. This role is critical in ensuring freshness, food safety, minimal wastage, and superior customer experience in a fast-paced quick commerce environment.

🥦 Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end quality control for Fruits & Vegetables across inbound, storage, handling, and dispatch operations.
Implement, monitor, and improve SOPs in line with FSSAI and food safety standards.
Conduct regular quality inspections and audits of vendors, warehouses, and distribution points.
Partner closely with procurement and operations teams to ensure consistent quality supply.
Track and analyze quality KPIs such as rejections, wastage, shrinkage, and customer complaints.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions to reduce losses and improve efficiency.
Train, mentor, and manage the QC team to ensure strict adherence to quality standards.
Handle and resolve customer quality complaints with a strong focus on prevention.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Food Technology / Horticulture or a related field.
4–6 years of hands-on experience in QC/QA for Fruits & Vegetables or perishables.
Strong understanding of post-harvest handling, cold chain management, and quality parameters.
Working knowledge of FSSAI, HACCP, GHP, and GMP standards.
Experience in vendor quality audits and warehouse QC processes is a must.
