This role plays a key behind-the-scenes part in ensuring our events run smoothly — from documentation and reporting to stakeholder communication and compliance processes.
The Role
This role provides comprehensive administrative support to the Events and Activations Team.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide end-to-end administrative support for Council events, including documentation, approvals, reporting and stakeholder communication
Coordinate records, budget tracking, procurement processes and compliance requirements
Liaise with internal teams, contractors and community members to support smooth event delivery
Provide professional customer service and assist with on-site event support when required
About You
You are organised, adaptable and calm under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
You will demonstrate:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Experience preparing reports and managing documentation
Confidence working within policies, procedures and governance frameworks
A collaborative, customer-focused approach

Package: $69,785 - $71,819 gross p.a. (Full Time Equivalent) plus 12% superannuation.
Hours of work: Temporary Part Time - working 3 days per week. Position is expected to be available up to 2 years.
