Location: Works Depot - 5 Millwood Avenue, Narellan 2567

As a Labourer for Council you will put your experience to use in forming, placing and finishing concrete assets, stormwater drainage, asphalt placement and compaction and/or general roads maintenance.

Essential:
Experience in labouring duties relevant to the work area (kerb and gutter, footpath, asphalt, stormwater
drainage or road maintenance).
Operate minor plant and equipment associated with construction and maintenance work
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
Demonstrated ability to apply WHS and EEO principles at the work place.
WHS General Induction Certificate
Desirable:
MR or HR class drivers licence
Traffic Control (Blue Card)
Backhoe/Loader/Roller or Skidsteer Experience
To meet Council’s WHS requirements and in accordance with Council’s Covid-19 Safety Plans, this position has been identified via risk assessment to be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide evidence of an approved medical contraindication. If a medical contraindication certificate is provided, it will be assessed against a risk assessment and the decision of whether Council accepts the medical contraindication certificate, will be based on operational needs.
