This exciting opportunity is for a skilled Civil Defense Lawyer to join our talented legal team in San Francisco, CA. The position offers a remote work model, and you will play a crucial role in our civil litigation defense efforts, managing various aspects of case management and client representation, including drafting and filing motions, preparing for and attending court trials, conducting depositions and providing legal counsel to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.
Represent clients in trial, arbitration, depositions, and mediations.
Keep clients and/or their insurers updated.
Provide expert legal advice to clients.
Manage day-to-day litigation tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Prior CA Civil Litigation experience required.
Proven track record of drafting and arguing motions.
Ability to navigate the court system effectively.
Skilled in conducting depositions and witness examinations.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Active member of the California State Bar.
Construction or casualty claims experience a plus.
