We've partnered with a firm that is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its legal team. The ideal candidate will have a background in handling a diverse array of civil litigation cases, including business disputes, real estate matters, and tort claims. This role offers the opportunity to manage cases from inception through resolution, providing comprehensive legal support to clients while working in a dynamic and team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in various civil litigation matters, including contract disputes, real estate litigation, and personal injury cases. Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and participate in trial preparation. Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies and provide legal advice throughout the litigation process. Engage in negotiations, mediations, and settlements to resolve cases effectively. Work closely with other attorneys and support staff to achieve favorable outcomes for clients. Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school in Mississippi Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation. Preferred Qualifications: Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Proven experience managing cases from start to finish, including trial experience. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative legal team. What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package.
