Position Summary
Position Title: Class 3 Truck Driver
Location: Kamloops, BC
Duration: Full-time
Description:
We are looking for talented dedicated drivers with exceptional customer service to join our delivery fleet. We provide an excellent training program, dedicated equipment, and opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities:
Start from Kamloops
Local deliveries within Kamloops and surrounding areas.
Conducts routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
Straight Truck/Curtain side and flatbed.
Monday to Friday shift as well as opportunities for additional shifts.
Coordinates the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured.
Maintains contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport.
Requirements:
6 months up to 1 year experience
Basic reading, communication skills to follow direction
Class 3 license with air brakes
Driver’s abstract issued within the last 30 days
Positive team attitude
Must be willing to complete a criminal record check
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
