Client Accountant

Job Title: Client Accountant - Property ManagementLocation: Birmingham City CentreJob Type: Temporary ongoingWe are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Client Accountant to join our property management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial accounts for a portfolio of properties, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing financial advice to clients.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain client property accounts, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reportsOversee the processing of rental income and property-related expensesReconcile bank statements and client accounts on a regular basisLiaise with property managers, clients, and third-party suppliers regarding financial queriesEnsure compliance with relevant property regulations and accounting standardsAssist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and auditsSkills and Experience:Previous experience in property management or a similar client-facing accounting roleStrong understanding of property accounting systems and proceduresProficient in using accounting softwareExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of UK property law and VAT regulations is desirableThis is a temporary role and you will need to be available to start ASAP.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
