We have an exciting opportunity to join the Recovery and Anaesthetics team as a Clinical Education Specialist, where you will be responsible for:
Developing and guiding clinical education programs that contribute to improving and optimising nursing/midwifery practice.
Assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating care/appropriate service delivery options using advanced knowledge, evidence, and own experience to achieve agreed patient care outcomes.
Contributing to competency improvement and analysis, measurement, and evaluation of education and professional development.
Promoting and working within a nursing model of client-centred care.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with at least 3 years, full-time equivalent, post-registration experience.
Ability to prepare and undertake presentations of a high standard in a range of educational settings to both community and professional groups.
Demonstrated recent competence in Recovery and Anaesthetic nursing.
Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and prioritise workloads.
